CANCELLATIONS/ REFUNDS POLICY
- Students who give notice to reschedule their enrolment more than 24 hours before the start of their course will incur no additional fees.
- Students who give notice to reschedule their enrolment less than 24 hours prior, or after the start of their course will incur a 50% rescheduling and administration fee based on their course fees.
- Where it has been identified that there is a legitimate reason, there will be no charge for a student to transfer to another course if the student provides evidence. An example of a legitimate reason includes sudden acute illness with a medical certificate as evidence.
- Legitimate reasons do not include unexpected traffic, public transport delays, arriving to the wrong venue, running late, new work commitments, etc.

What first aid courses do you offer?
We offer nationally recognised training including:
- HLTAID009 – Provide CPR
- HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
Group and workplace bookings are also available.
Who can take a first aid course?
Our courses are open to anyone aged 14 years and older (with parent/guardian consent if under 18). No previous experience is required.
Do I need to have a first aid certificate to do CPR training?
No. CPR (HLTAID009) is a standalone unit. You don’t need to hold any prior qualifications.
What do I need to bring?
- Valid photo ID
- Comfortable clothing (you’ll be on the floor practising CPR)
- Pen and notepad (optional)
- Any pre-course work completed (if applicable)
Is there pre-course work?
Yes! Our blended courses include online modules to complete before your face-to-face practical session. This ensures you’re ready and eligible for certification.
Prefer paper? No problem! If you’d rather complete your theory in class using paper-based materials, just contact our friendly staff and we’ll set it up for you.
Can I choose my learning style?
Absolutely! We offer flexible delivery options: online, in-class, or a mix of both. You can also choose paper-based assessments if you prefer learning away from a screen.
Do you issue nationally recognised certificates?
Yes. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO NO-46055) and issue certificates that are nationally recognised across Australia.
When will I receive my certificate?
Certificates are usually issued within 24 hours after successful course completion and assessment. You’ll receive it via email as a PDF.
How long is my first aid certificate valid?
- CPR (HLTAID009) – Recommended renewal every 12 months
- First Aid (HLTAID011) – Valid for 3 years (CPR must be refreshed yearly)
Always check with your employer or industry requirements.
What if I have a medical condition or injury?
Please let us know in advance. We can make reasonable adjustments where possible, but note that some physical assessment (e.g., CPR on the floor) is required to be deemed competent.
What is your cancellation or reschedule policy?
We understand things change! Please refer to our booking policy for details on rescheduling or cancellations. We usually require 24 hours’ notice.
